Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom licensed print

Acme Archives Direct has released the third in a series of travel posters inspired by the Indiana Jones movies. It is officially licensed through Lucasfilm. Giclee print on archival paper, 13 by 19 inches. Each one is signed and numbered (out of 150).

This is what I imagined for this scene. We see Dr. Jones being dropped off by Short Round to Club Obi Wan. Jones starts to walk through the door and takes off his hat, realizes he doesn't need it and turns back to the car. He leans close to the window and hands it to Shorty saying, "Stay close."

"See America" posters of National Parks for PrintCollection.com

I had the pleasure of working with PrintCollection.com this past year to create some exclusive travel posters to U.S. National Parks. There are 10 in all.

They're inspired by the WPA posters of the early 20th century. I had fun with these and tried some different styles.

Prints start at only $16.99.

Which is your favourite?

2013 Space Travel calendar - preorder available

I'm very excited to announce the preorder of my space travel calendar, published by Universe Publishing, a division of Rizzoli International Publications, Inc., in New York.

It's up on Amazon now. The official release date is August 1, 2012.

This deal has been about a year in the making and I'm thrilled to have it as a published item. Here is the description from Amazon:

"Combining the cheery optimism of mid-century travel posters and kitschy-cool sci-fi details, these vivid, imaginative travel posters could hang as easily at the 2525 World's Fair as on the set of Mad Men. Full of eye-catching graphic design, space-age colors, and sophisticated wit, the Galactic Travel Posters 2013 Wall Calendar adds instant cool to any space and will inspire any hip retronaut, geeky adventurer, or armchair astronaut.

* 2013 promises to be a year of exciting and glamorous excursions around the Milky Way, including a zip-line ride through the Asteroid Belt, Mars's spectacular canyons, the heart-stopping Mercury Grand Prix, deep-sea vessels plumbing Neptune's fantastical depths, and hitting the slopes on frozen Pluto." Thanks for looking.
